Mr. Jamorn Supapol

A native of Thailand, pianist Jamorn Supapol received his Bachelor of Music in piano performance from Manhattan School of Music, New York, and a Master’s Degree and a Graduate Performance Diploma from the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University, Maryland, U.S.A. His piano teachers include Suda Banomyong, Dusdi Banomyong-Buntasnakul, Piyabhand Snitwongse, Ann Schein and Nina Svetlanova.

In 1987 he won the First Prize at the First Bangkok Chopin Piano Competition. As part of his prize, he was in Warsaw to study with Barbara Hesse-Bukowska, a famous Chopin interpreter. Jamorn also received a scholarship from Fund for Classical Music Promotion under the Royal Patronage of HRH Princess Galyani Vadhana to attend masterclasses given by Jean-Francois Antonioli in Lausanne, Switzerland in 2004 and 2005.

Jamorn has appeared as soloist with the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra and the Siam Philharmonic Orchestra, among others. He enjoys giving solo recitals and playing in chamber and vocal concerts. On the recording label Songsmith, he has a number of CD releases, performing a variety of repertoire. Currently Jamorn teaches piano performance and chamber music at Faculty of Music, Silpakorn University.

อาจารย์จามร ศุภผล ศิลปินนักเปียโนไทยผู้มีชื่อเสียง จบการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีในสาขา Piano Performance จาก Manhattan School of Music กรุงนิวยอร์ค และปริญญาโทและ Graduate Performance Diploma จากสถาบัน Peabody Conservatory of the John Hopkins University ในแมรี่แลนด์ สหรัฐอเมริกา โดยอาจารย์เคยศึกษากับ อาจารย์สุดา พนมยงค์ อาจารย์ดุษฎี พนมยงค์ อาจารย์ปิยะพันธ์ สนิทวงศ์ ณ อยุธยา รวมถึงอาจารย์ Ann Schein และ Nina Svetlanova

ในปี 1987 อาจารย์จามรได้รับรางวัลชนะเลิศจากการแข่งขัน First Bangkok Chopin Piano Competition และได้มีโอกาสได้ศึกษาต่อกับ Barbara Hesse-Bukowska ศิลปินผู้เชี่ยวชาญในการตีความผลงานของคีตกวีโชแปง ณ กรุงวอร์ซอ ประเทศโปแลนด์ นอกจากนี้แล้ว ยังเคยได้รับทุนส่งเสริมดนตรีคลาสสิกในพระอุปถัมภ์ สมเด็จพระเจ้าพี่นางเธอ เจ้าฟ้ากัลยาณิวัฒนา กรมหลวงนราธิวาสราชนครินทร์ให้เข้าร่วมมาสเตอร์คลาสกับ Jean-Francois Antonioli ในเมือง Lausanne ประเทศสวิสเซอร์แลนด์ในปี 2004 และ 2005

อาจารย์จามรเป็นศิลปินเดี่ยวร่วมกับวง Bangkok Symphony Orchestra วง National Symphony Orchestra และวง Siam Philharmonic Orchestra และมักจัดงานแสดงเปียโนรวมถึงงานเชมเบอร์และการแสดงร่วมกับศิลปินนักร้อง นอกจากนี้แล้วยังมีผลงานซีดีในบทเพลงที่หลากหลายร่วมกับค่าย Songsmith ในปัจจุบันอาจารย์จามรเป็นอาจารย์ภาควิชา Piano Performance และ Chamber Music ในคณะดุริยางคศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร
